On January 30, 2023, 43-year-old David Ramirez was found fatally shot alongside his parents, 68-year-old Sonia Ramirez and 66-year-old George Ramirez, in their family home on Ramona Place in Ontario, California. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department launched an investigation into the triple homicide, identifying the victims' relative, 29-year-old Pete Anthony Renteria, as the primary suspect.
