Cornelius Cordell "Studda" Carrington, a 4-year-old boy from Lubbock, Texas, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2021. Cornelius was visiting his father at a house in the 700 block of East Ursuline Street when a drive-by shooting occurred just before 9:00 p.m. He was shot and rushed to a Lubbock hospital, where he later died. The Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting, which is believed to have been a senseless act of violence.
