Michael Leslie Krol, a 40-year-old white male police officer, tragically lost his life on July 7, 2016, in Dallas, Texas. Officer Krol was one of the five police officers killed during a protest in downtown Dallas. The protest was in response to recent police shootings of African American men in other parts of the country.
