On May 20, 2012, George Hicks Jr., aged 22, was found dead in the Holly Hills neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The shooting took place around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday night. Hicks was discovered in the 200 block of Bates Street, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities. The police report at the time did not identify any suspects, and the case remains unsolved, with the investigation still ongoing.
