Rashad Naeem Shands

Rashad Naeem Shands, a 34-year-old Black man from St. Louis, Missouri, was killed on December 4, 2014, after gunfire erupted while he was riding in a vehicle in the 4500 block of Page Boulevard. As daylight faded into late afternoon, what should have been an ordinary trip through north St. Louis turned into chaos, with bullets tearing into the car and leaving Shands mortally wounded.
