In the summer of 2012, a grim discovery was made on a quiet street in Kansas City, Missouri, that would leave a family heartbroken and a community with unanswered questions. On the morning of July 12th, police were dispatched to the 3900 block of Kensington Avenue following a call for an ambulance. There, they found 32-year-old Heather Lynn Brown inside her red car. She was slumped over and unresponsive, and it was immediately apparent that this was not a simple case of a medical emergency.
