Cesar Guzman, aged 22, was shot and killed on July 16, 2012, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m., when officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Hardesty Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, the police found Guzman lying in the grass on the south side of a residence.
