In the early morning hours of July 16, 2012, a violent incident unfolded in the residential streets of Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of a young man. Cesar Guzman, a 22-year-old White male, was the victim of a shooting that occurred under the cover of darkness. The sequence of events began around 2:20 a.m. when law enforcement officers received a dispatch call regarding gunfire in the vicinity of 1717 Hardesty Avenue.
