In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Kansas City, a vibrant young life was tragically cut short. John Alfaro, an 18-year-old male, was shot and killed on August 24, 2025, in a downtown parking lot near 13th Street and Grand Boulevard. The incident, which also claimed the life of 24-year-old Kane Taddese, left three other individuals wounded, including one juvenile.
