On the evening of December 12, 2017, violent tragedy struck on the 5500 block of South Benton Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. DeAndre L. Cooper, a 32-year-old male resident of the area, was exiting his home when he was suddenly ambushed by unknown individuals.
