William Maze, a 58-year-old man, was found deceased on November 30, 2015, at his residence on 4511 Virginia Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Officers responded to reports of a disturbance, and upon arrival, they discovered Maze lying in the front yard of the home. Witnesses reported hearing a scuffle between Maze and the suspect before seeing the suspect flee the scene. Maze died as a result of a stab wound.
