On November 30, 2015, police in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to a residence on Virginia Avenue following reports of a disturbance. Upon arriving at the scene at approximately 4511 Virginia Avenue, officers discovered the body of 58-year-old William Maze, a Black male, lying in the front yard of the home.
