Kansas City police have identified 16-year-old Matim Nunley as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on May 10, 2025. The incident took place outside a gas station on East 63rd Street near Missouri 350 highway. Officers responded to reports of gunfire just after 2 p.m. and discovered Nunley suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the convenience store. Emergency medical personnel transported him to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
