On December 28, 2014, Nicholas R. Preuitt, a 27-year-old from Kearney, Missouri, was killed in a tragic incident in Kansas City's Power and Light District. The shooting occurred around 2:50 a.m. near a parking garage in the area. According to reports, Nicholas was involved in an argument with a stranger, which escalated into violence.
