Roy Ponce, a 26-year-old man from San Antonio, Texas, was tragically killed on July 30, 2018, in what was described as an ambush attack at his home on the city's northwest side. Ponce was fatally shot multiple times as he returned to his home on Basse Road. The attackers, who had hidden in the attic of the home, ambushed him as he entered.
