On March 27, 2023, 30-year-old Donald Townsend was fatally shot during a confrontation at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of Lombrano Street on San Antonio's West Side. Responding officers found Townsend with a gunshot wound to the chest; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
