On August 12, 2013, Manuel E. Lars, age 32, was found dead in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred in the afternoon when officers were dispatched to 3815 E. 59th Street after receiving an ambulance call. Upon arrival, they discovered Manuel's body near a fence on the property at 5901 Swope Parkway. It was determined that Manuel had been the victim of a homicide.
