In the early evening of Thursday, October 9, 2025, a resident of Raytown, Missouri, Zamarion Taylor, became the victim of a fatal shooting in Kansas City. The 20-year-old male was at a convenience store in the 1300 block of Bannister Road when the incident occurred just before 6 p.m.
According to preliminary investigations, Taylor had an interaction with an unknown individual in the parking lot of the business. The altercation escalated, leading to gunfire that struck Taylor.
When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Taylor unresponsive on the ground next to the convenience store.
