On the afternoon of December 12, 2017, a violent incident unfolded in Kansas City, Missouri, resulting in the untimely death of Dominic M. Clarkson III. Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 1:15 p.m. regarding a shooting disturbance in the 6900 block of Blue Parkway. Upon arrival, first responders discovered the 20-year-old male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds outside of the Blue Parkway Bait & Tackle shop, a local business that also dealt in pet supplies.
