Darren Walton, age 58 and male, was found unresponsive inside an apartment in Kansas City, Missouri, on the evening of September 3, 2025. First responders were initially dispatched just after 6:30 p.m. to a call described as a medical incident near Thompson and Bales Avenue. When officers and paramedics entered the residence in the 500 block of Bales Avenue, they discovered that Darren Walton had suffered multiple apparent gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
