Brandon Johnson, age 25, was killed on September 2, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident took place near the 2800 block of Mersington Avenue. Police responded to a call early in the morning, where they found Brandon with fatal gunshot wounds. His death was one of the many homicides that plagued Kansas City in 2016.
Years later, in 2021, Terrance A. Jones was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery, and unlawful use of a weapon in connection with Brandon’s death
