Raymond Deonta Lee, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2017, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a shooting early that Tuesday morning. According to the Rocky Mount Police Department, Lee was one of two individuals injured in the shooting. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
