Richard "Rick" Britton Sr., a 54-year-old male from Odessa, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on December 25, 2019. The incident occurred at 16164 W. University, where the Ector County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies found Rick Britton deceased at the scene. The investigation revealed that Rick Britton had been shot by his stepdaughter, Jaylene Ann Green, following a family disturbance.
