Rory Norman, a 1-year-old boy, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2020, in a targeted shooting at his home in the Bonton neighborhood of South Dallas. Rory was shot while sleeping in his bed early Sunday morning by an assailant armed with a rifle. The shooting was described as deliberate and intentional by Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall, who expressed her outrage and sadness over the senseless act of violence.
