James Browning Jr., a 20-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, was tragically shot and killed on the night of March 13, 2019, outside Dixon Grocery at 3752 Dixon Avenue. Browning, who was known as "Bubba" to friends and neighbors, was standing outside the store when two men in a white SUV opened fire on him with rifles. Despite making it into the store, Browning succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
