Kenneth Carl Evans Gordon, a 37-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on September 21, 2020, in Houston, Texas. He was fatally shot during an altercation outside a convenience store located at 6535 Willowbend Boulevard. According to the Houston Police Department , Gordon and another male exchanged gunfire, and Gordon was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The suspect, described as a black male dressed in all black, fled the scene on foot.
However, a third male present inside the store during the shooting was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Smith and Detective E. Martinez are leading the case. The HPD has urged anyone with information to come forward and contact them or Crime Stoppers.
As of now, no further arrests or suspects have been publicly identified in connection with Kenneth Gordon's death. The case remains under active investigation, and authorities continue to seek information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the individual responsible for his death.
