Angelica Marie Wysinger, a 26-year-old Black female, was riding in a vehicle with her boyfriend and three children. As they drove near the downtown area, their car was pursued by another, a silver vehicle of unknown make and model. A hail of bullets shattered the peace, striking both Angelica and her boyfriend, 23-year-old William Crume. The attack was swift and brutal, leaving a scene of chaos and tragedy.
First responders arrived to find a bullet-riddled car and a family torn apart. William Crume was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds to his head and torso. Angelica, having been shot in her left shoulder and hip, was rushed to a nearby hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. In the backseat, three children were caught in the terrifying ordeal.
