Derrick Mike, a 39-year-old male, tragically lost his life on November 28, 2020, in Houston, Texas. Derrick was shot multiple times by Edward O'Neal, a 23-year-old male, at the Garden City Apartments. Derrick was conscious after the shooting and managed to describe his assailant to the police before being taken to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, where he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
