Watson, a 44-year-old gang member, was later convicted of murder and sentenced to 80 years in prison for his role in Jarmon-Joiner's death. Harris, a 20-year-old, was also charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The case against Watson's co-defendant, Harris, is still pending.
