On May 18, 2022, 36-year-old male James Richard Lee South was fatally shot in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at 6909 Eastex Freeway, where officers from the Houston Police Department responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. South with gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were dispatched, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
