Jayden Dandridge, a 21-year-old male, was found dead in Houston, Texas, on March 27, 2025. His body was discovered in an abandoned building, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Science ruled his death a homicide. Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the killing, and no arrests have been made in connection with his death.
Dandridge had been identified as a suspect in a deadly shooting that occurred in downtown Memphis on March 22, 2025.
The incident took place outside the Westin Hotel near the FedEx Forum, where two men were shot. One of the victims, 27-year-old Letorian Hunt, was pronounced dead at the scene, while Houston rapper Sauce Walka, whose real name is Albert Walker Mondane, sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh but survived. Memphis police had issued a warrant for Dandridge’s arrest on charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and auto theft.
Following the shooting, surveillance footage showed Dandridge inside a stolen 2021 Dodge Charger 392 Scat Pack, which was used in the crime. Authorities were actively searching for him when his body was discovered in Houston. His phone records indicated that he had been in the city between March 22 and March 28, with his device pinging near the Galleria area on March 25.
Investigators are now focusing on locating a second suspect, 22-year-old Kevin Brown, who remains at large. Brown has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and theft of property valued between $10,000 and $60,000. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Brown’s whereabouts to contact Memphis Crime Stoppers. The investigation into Dandridge’s death and its possible connection to the Memphis shooting remains ongoing.
