On April 3, 2015, Glen Williams, a 54-year-old male from Houston, Texas, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The event unfolded in the early hours when Glen Williams was at the Corner Food Mart on Selinsky Road. An argument ensued between him and a woman, during which another man became involved, escalating the confrontation. Surveillance footage from the store captured this individual brandishing a weapon and pointing it inside the establishment.
Following the altercation,
Glen Williams' 24-year-old son, Carl Williams, arrived to pick up his father. As they returned to their residence at the Crystal Springs apartment complex, they were reportedly followed by the individual from the store. Upon arrival, both men were shot. Glen Williams collapsed near the apartment door, while Carl Williams managed to move approximately 30 yards before succumbing to his injuries.
In the aftermath of the investigation, authorities arrested 38-year-old Christopher Mallett in connection with the double homicide. He was subsequently charged with capital murder in the 228th State District Court for the deaths of Glen Williams and Carl Williams. The motive behind the initial argument and the subsequent escalation to violence remains unclear.
