On December 19, 2007, 40-year-old Marvin Allen Cooper was found deceased in the 8100 block of Shreveport Boulevard in Houston, Texas. Around 6 a.m., a commuter noticed Cooper's body lying on the shoulder of the road and alerted authorities. Responding officers from the Houston Police Department discovered that Cooper had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
