Death by Force

On March 31, 2017, James Derrick Banks, 26, was fatally shot at 5403 Bungalow in Houston, Texas. Banks was visiting a friend, the homeowner, when an argument broke out between them. The confrontation escalated into a physical altercation, during which the homeowner shot Banks, claiming self-defense. Authorities responded to the scene around 11:30 p.m., where Banks was pronounced dead.
