Kristen Askew, a 26-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on May 2, 2021, in Houston, Texas. She was fatally shot in the parking lot of a convenience store located at 2002 Runnels Street. Kristen had left her apartment at 1900 Runnels Street to buy some items when she got into an altercation in the parking lot, which led to her being shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
