On August 6, 2013, Marcos Salcido, age 42, was killed in Houston, Texas. His death was investigated as a homicide by the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division. The circumstances surrounding the homicide were not immediately clear, but foul play was suspected, and investigators pursued all available leads.
