Tristan Scott Smart, a 20-year-old male from Houston, Texas, tragically lost his life on January 14, 2020. Tristan was found unresponsive inside a vehicle on the 11200 block of West Road in Harris County, Texas. He had sustained a gunshot wound, and despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Division has been actively investigating the case, but as of now, no arrests have been made, and the suspect responsible for
his murder remain unidentified.
Tristan's family has been deeply affected by his untimely death. His brother, Samuel Smart, and other family members have been vocal in their plea for justice. They have hired a private investigator and have been working closely with Crime Stoppers, which has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the identification, charging, and/or arrest of the suspect involved in Tristan's murder. The family believes that Tristan may have been meeting someone for a drug transaction when he was shot, and they suspect that the incident was a setup.
The investigation into Tristan's death remains ongoing, and the Harris County Sheriff's Office continues to seek the public's assistance in solving the case. Tristan's family hopes that justice will be served and that the person or persons responsible for his death will be brought to justice.
