Christopher Castillo, an 18-year-old male from Lubbock, Texas, tragically died on May 4, 2021, from a gunshot wound to the chest. Castillo was shot outside the South Plains Mall in the parking lot during an outdoor carnival. The incident occurred in the evening, and Castillo was later pronounced dead at University Medical Center.
