On March 21, 2024, 19-year-old Eric Garcia was fatally shot near a gas station in the 1600 block of 19th Street in Lubbock, Texas. Officers responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 5:04 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Garcia suffering from a gunshot wound.
