Birmingham police are investigating an overnight homicide in Ensley. It's the sixth homicide in the city since Friday.
Police say a black male was shot several times in the 1500 block of 52nd Street Ensley around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Cartez Juan Woolen of Birmingham, according to the Jefferson County coroner's office.
