Normand Keenan Jalah, a 30-year-old Black man from Port Arthur, Texas, tragically lost his life on September 26, 2021. He was found deceased from a single gunshot wound in the early hours of the morning at the 100 block of 6th Street. The incident was reported to Port Arthur Police Department at approximately 3:23 a.m., and upon arrival, officers discovered Jalah's body.
