On July 4, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Port Arthur Police responded to a distress call from a woman reporting a break-in at her garage apartment located in the 3400 block of 6th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased men: one at the base of the stairs leading to the apartment and another inside.
