On March 10, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., a shooting occurred near the 700 block of Procter Street in Port Arthur, Texas, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Robert Scott from Groves. Scott sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to CHRISTUS Southeast Texas – St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, where he was pronounced dead.
