Tashari Nelson, a 23-year-old mother of three young daughters, was tragically killed in a shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, on April 24, 2016. The incident occurred in the early hours near 36th Street and Jackson Avenue, where Nelson was shot in the head. She was hospitalized but declared brain dead soon after the incident. Tashari's three children, affectionately known as "The Golden Girls," were left without their mother due to this senseless act of violence.
