Mabel Ruth Bloom McIntyre Manley, a 68-year-old white woman, was last seen on March 2, 1972, working as a bartender at the Bigger Jigger No. 2 Tavern in Kansas City, Missouri. She and Jake Green, a 69-year-old janitor at the same establishment, disappeared that day. Their bodies were later discovered several miles away on Blue River Road.
