Larry Dewayne Kirby, a 39-year-old white male from Maud, Texas, tragically died on June 21, 2022, as a result of a shooting. The incident occurred around 7:54 p.m. in the 500 block of Birch Street in Maud. Kirby was found lying in the roadway, bleeding heavily, and despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation revealed that Kirby had been shot by his brother-in-law, Billy John Scott, a 50-year-old white male also from Maud. Kirby manag ...
