In the summer of 2016, the life of 54-year-old Marquetta Toran was tragically cut short in St. Louis, Missouri. On the morning of Friday, July 29th, a call was made to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reporting a 'person down' in an alley. When officers arrived at the scene in the Fountain Park neighborhood, they made a grim discovery.
