On February 28, 2023, 15-year-old Emily Valentine was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue in the Gravois Park neighborhood. Responding officers found Emily on a parking pad behind a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound to her face. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
