In the summer of 2012, a promise-filled life was tragically cut short. On the evening of Thursday, July 26th, 16-year-old Kiera D. Tanter was with a group of friends in Gravois Park, located at the intersection of Miami and Louisiana Avenues in St. Louis, Missouri. The gathering was abruptly shattered at 9:15 p.m. when an unknown individual or individuals fired numerous shots into the crowd.
