In the early hours of a summer Friday in St. Louis, Missouri, the life of Reba Battles, a 43-year-old Caucasian female, was tragically cut short. On July 8, 2016, Battles was outside a home in the Botanical Heights neighborhood when gunfire erupted. The incident, which unfolded around 1 a.m. in the 3800 block of Folsom Avenue, also left two others injured.
