On the night of October 15, 2017, Lovecia Jones, age 31, was fatally shot in St. Louis, Missouri. Police responded to the Grand Motel on North Grand Boulevard around 9:00 PM after receiving a report of a shooting. Lovecia Jones was found lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
