On October 24, 2022, Alan Guillen, a 16-year-old Hispanic male and student at Manor High School in Austin, Texas, was tragically shot in the head near the P. Terry’s restaurant on Texas State Highway 71. The shooting occurred around 1:45 p.m., and Alan was one of the juveniles targeted by a male suspect who fired at two vehicles. The suspect, described as a heavy-set Hispanic male between 17 and 20 years old, was last seen wearing a red hoodie and dark pants.
